The Lawyers – A German Story
The film "The Lawyers – A German Story" by Birgit Schulz has been awarded the PHOENIX Documentary Film Prize for 2010. The prize includes a cash award of 10,000 euros.
The jury – composed of WDR director Monika Piel, ZDF director Prof. Markus Schächter, the documentary filmmaker and journalist Prof. Dr. Lutz Hachmeister, the actor and documentary filmmaker Hannes Jaenicke, the documentary filmmaker Doris Metz, the former managing director of the NRW Film Foundation Prof. Michael Schmid-Ospach, and the PHOENIX program directors Michael Hirz and Christoph Minhoff – awards the PHOENIX Prize to films and project proposals that engage in outstanding ways with the theme of "Innovation and Change".
